About Anna Latto

I have always been mesmerised by horses and as soon as I could walk I would escape the family home to visit horses in a field next to our back garden in the UK. It must have scared my Mum but the horses never hurt me.

So horses have been the main passion in my life and I have been involved with pacing, racing and show jumping. However, once I was bitten by the 'Dressage Bug' there was just no cure! So that is what I love and now specialise in as a rider and coach.

I have been very lucky to have super instructors along the way, including Harry and Margo Boldt and more recently the fabulous Lone Joergensen.

I live in the Swan Valley, Perth, Western Australia with my wonderful husband Alan, two dogs Wolfie and Gracie plus our four horses; Artaius who has competed medium/advanced, Azzy competing at Elementary, Beau will be competing next year, and beautiful Finn who is my up and coming 3 year old.

I love every day training with my horses and I really enjoy competing. However my number one priority is the horses welfare and health, and that comes before any goals to compete in the arena.

I also love coaching and helping other riders to achieve their dreams. I coach on my property in Baskerville, Perth and can coach riders with their own horses all year round in my newly built 60m x 20m Indoor Arena. I welcome all riders whether to improve your dressage scores and learn new exercises to enhance your training, or to guide you to train your horse to be a safe and enjoyable riding horse.

Anna Latto and PHP Charmaslan aka Azzy performed at three well represented and efficiently run dressage competitions to become the overall winners of the series.

I am forever grateful that I found a true partner all those years ago. He is the love of my life and the greatest treasure I have ever held.

My magnificent boy Artaius aka TDH (Tall, Dark & Handsome) came into my world as a 2 year old, and then we grew together learning the sport of dressage. As my knowledge and wisdom developed he proved to be so adaptable and trainable with every stage of our schooling. As our partnership became stronger, our efforts were rewarded and my aspirations accomplished, achieving my dream of competing at Advanced level. Artaius has the most adorable temperament and everyone that meets him falls in love with my special boy. I'm so happy to still be able to ride him and give him a cuddle everyday, now in his late teens, and thank him for being a part of my life. He will forever be imprinted into my heart.
