The next Newforge Stables Country Club for horse riders! event is scheduled for Sunday 13th April 2025. Our Country Club for horse riders! is held twice each month (or so due to event clashes) one midweek on a Thursday and one on the weekend on a Sunday. Our next date for our midweek Country Club is Thursday 24th April. This month's topic continues with our three part series 'Dressage Training Scale'. Each event is designed to be attended individually but you will have the greatest understanding if you attend the series. We hope you can join us!

Meet and greet at Anna's stables. Enjoy a coffee or tea and sweet treat while meeting new and old friends.
Make your way upstairs to 'The Loft' for Anna's presentation: 'Dressage Training Scale - Pushing Power & Collection'. Take a seat and make yourself comfortable before Anna speaks passionately, and delves deep into the second and third stage of the training scale - Impulsion, Straightness and Collection'.
Have a short break before making your way to the Indoor Arena.
Anna and her competition horse Azzy will demonstrate the morning's theory introducing us to some of the school figures used from Preparatory level through to Elementary. She will show how the training scale flows building the horse physically and mentally, preparing for higher level exercises such as lateral movements.
We will conclude the morning with a debrief of the morning's activities and 'Ask Anna Anything' session. And find out who will be the lucky winner of the door prize? Head back to the stable's verandah for a scrumptious morning tea, relax, and have a chat.
